OSM PROVINCIAL DINNER DANCE WEEKEND MAKES DONATIONS TOTALLING
£2,500.00 TO 5 LOCAL CHARITIES AROUND THE PROVINCE
 
The Provincial Dinner Dance weekend which has been held for many years on the weekend of the 3rd Saturday in March at the Hotel Sheraton, Queens Promenade, Blackpool and arranged by myself, has always given donations to local charities nominated by the members of those Conclaves that have supported the event and donated prizes for the bumper raffle held at the event.
 
After the 2021 event was cancelled due to the COVID lockdown the weekend was reinstated in March 2022 and again in March 2023 and March 2024.
 
The charities nominated for a donation in 2023 were:-
Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team (Garstang) £500.00
Cumbria Blood Bikes £500.00
Papyrus (Warrington) £500.00
Newton-le-Willows Under 10 Football Club £500.00
Springfield Trampoline Academy (Coppull) £500.00
 
Cheque presentations were made by myself, accompanied in most cases, by members of the nominating Conclave.

I am also delighted to announce that the OSM Benevolent Fund has agreed to provide an additional £250.00 to each of the above charities from the OSM Benevolent Fund “match funding scheme” which offers up to £1000.00 per Province each year to match local donations made within each Province to local charitable causes.
 
The Provincial Dinner Dance weekend will be held over the weekend of Friday 14th March to Sunday 16th March 2025. The cost is £157.00 per person for the full weekend including Dinner B&B on Friday and Saturday and the Dinner Dance itself with entertainment.
 
One night accommodation and Dance only is also available.
 
All members and friends and family may attend the event (they do not need to be a Freemason) and more information and Booking from will be circulated to all members in August.
